hollyleix asked: -smirks- Of course there’s an option for that. Just kill me. -gets to her feet again-
Holly rolled her eyes at that. Hadn’t they been over this before? “Why do you think?” she said, her sarcasm almost overwhelming the rhetorical question.
“Yes… But why are you help….” He lost his breath and closed his eyes, swallowing. He didn’t have the energy to bicker. “… I mean, why now?” Why after he mercilessly beat her only minutes before?
…He still didn’t get it? After all this, he still didn’t get it. Holly almost sighed, she was starting to sound like a broken record. “Levi, I love you. I would do anything for you. Heck, I would die for you, and I nearly did.” she smiled at him. “Suffice to say, I don’t mind helping you. I don’t care that you beat me, I’ll always be there for you.”
“Tch.” The man decided not to continue the conversation, because he could barely talk anyway. He continued to limp, with her, toward the street.
Holly moved them closer to the edge of the road. There was a truck coming, and she stuck out her hand to signal for it to stop. The truck stop, and the driver called out “Need some help, miss?” Holly froze, not knowing what to do.
Levi immediately forced himself up to stand straight. “This girl got mugged, we need to take her to a hospital….” When the man didn’t react quickly enough, the monster shouted, ”Quickly!”
The man walked over to Levi, and took Holly from him, trying to get her into the cab of the truck. “I can get in myself.” she said, somewhat offended. Holly hoped Levi planned to act soon, she didn’t want this man touching her any more.
”Actually, mind if I get shotgun? Thank you.” Levi said, not bothering to wait for the answer as he stepped inside the truck. He watched the man walk back to the drivers seat and looked up at the mirror, staring at Holly for a few seconds. Levi then fixed his gaze forward. ”Drive.” he ordered him, reasonably, but with a hint of force in his tone.
The driver drove, headed for the nearest hospital. “Why’re y’all out here?”
Holly was slumped over, half unconscious, not moving, leaving only Levi to answer.
”Me? Well, I went to get a bite to eat… And her- Well, funny thing is—” Levi lunged for throat, biting down hard on it to kill him without any fuss. The car swerved, and Levi pushed the mans head back, breaking it as he quickly grabbed the wheel, steadying the driving. The man parked on the site of the road, looking at Holly with a childish smile. “That went better than expected, I was certain that I was going to crash the car with us inside.”
Holly sighed. “Good thing you didn’t.” she murmured. Shock had kicked it, leaving her mostly asleep. She was just aware enough to know she probably needed to get to a hospital.
The Leviathan downed his snack quickly, and it gave him some strength. He needed more to eat, however. “Lets go to the hospital, I won’t eat your doctors, don’t worry. …I’ll eat the other ones.”
“mmmm” Holly groaned weakly. She couldn’t really keep up with the conversation right now. She just wanted to get to the hospital. “make em give me the good drugs, m’k?” she slurred out.
”Of course.” He muttered with a shrug, driving quickly to the nearest hospital.
